From here, you’ll receive a personalised quote in your inbox, usually in 24 hours or less – just like you’ve seen before. Except this time it’s different.

Your perfect match

Our platform operates using a carefully balanced matching engine, which analyses your historical energy consumption to find the perfect match from generators in our portfolio.

It finds the best matches and the right mix of renewable generators from across our network to power your business, day and night, right down to 30-minute blocks.

Unlike a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), this isn’t a peer-to-peer transaction. Instead, your business could be matched with multiple different renewable energy sources. For example, a business on RED might be powered by a combination of anaerobic digestion, wind energy, or solar power from various locations across the UK. We call this many-to-many matching.

What’s more, we don’t stop matching after you join. Whenever a new business or generator joins RED, our matching engine reviews and re-balances the energy volumes across the entire portfolio. This means you get better matches, a better energy balance, and even price improvements mid-contract.
